National Gallery Singapore

July 2016

Electro-Acoustics Systems Pte Ltd (EAS) was chosen to supply a Clear-Com FreeSpeak II wireless intercom system at the National Gallery Singapore. Providing wireless communications over a wide area, the FreeSpeak II system was selected for its capabilities and audio clarity.

Having several multi-purpose venues within the Gallery the crew often has to run different events during the week that require a different amount of wireless beltpacks. As the wireless intercom is a shared resource across venues, the systems portable, easy-to-use and efficient setup process for providing immediate coverage provide the ideal choice for the Gallery.

National Gallery Singapore offers visitors the largest public collection of modern art in Singapore and South East Asia. The Gallery is housed in two iconic national monuments the former Supreme Court and City Hall. Blending rich history with exciting modernity, the Gallery’s unique spaces are often the host to a variety of events, from conferences to product launches and cocktail receptions.

One of the biggest benefits that FreeSpeak II delivers to the Gallery is said to be the streamlining of the setup process. It is now reportedly able to deploy the base station in a venue, pair the beltpacks over the air, get immediate coverage with the strategically-placed antennas, and be up-and-running in a matter of five to 10 minutes.
